At H Hotels Collection, we strive to mitigate the impact of our hotel operations on the environment and we are committed to promoting responsible environmental practices, with the aim to protect natural habitats, minimize waste, and manage water and energy consumption.

Our certification is maintained for ISO 14001 environmental management system and Travelife Gold for accomondation sustainability.

We actively raise sustainability awareness among our employees, guests and suppliers by implementing environmental educational  programmes and communicating the hotels environmental philosophy.

Blue Flag

Our beaches are awarded the Blue Flag, a certification that confirms the achievement of high standards in the four categories  of water quality, environmental management, environmental education and safety.

Local Beach Clean-Up

Year after year we organize local beach clean-up events and it seems they have already been established as a tradition! The beach clean-up initiative takes place in three different coastline zones used by our hotels. Hotel employees, guests and management are actively involved in the cleaning of the public areas surrounding the hotels beachfronts. Allvolunteers are provided with the necessary materials for the collection as well as a t-shirt with the logo of the initiative and a hat, as acknowledgment for their support.

Waste Management

We acknowledge that reducing our environmental footprint is of paramount importance and with our waste management plan and purchasing policy we actively reduce, re-use and recycle. Over the last 3 years, we have managed to effectively reduce single use materials and mesaure our food waste, re-use and recycle many products including plastic, paper, glass aluminium r, including batteries, light bulbs, electronic equipment and used cooking oils.
