Titania Hotel invites you to peek into Ancient Greece, as it’s located right in the heart of Athens! A charismatic hotel with classic style and a feel-good atmosphere. Back in 1911 Titania, originally opened as a patisserie, “The united voustasias”, and was the most popular and prestigious place for all intellectual people of the Athenian aristocracy. In the early 1930s, the famous patisserie gave its place to the Titania Cinema. It was the time when the competition between the film businessmen erupted. As a result, the 2,000-seat giant cinema called TITANIA was created. Its construction began in 1932 and it was equipped with the latest technology of that time. It operated from 1933 to 1970, giving its location and name to the Titania Hotel. Its construction began in 1971 and was inaugurated in 1976, featuring 385 rooms and suites.

New Era
In February 2024, a new era began for the TITANIA Hotel as it was acquired by the H Hotels Collection, owned by the Hatzilazarou family.
The group plans to maintain the hotel’s history and enhance its services to meet the needs of the modern traveler, as its location serves as a meeting point and reference in Athens.
